Norco got its name in 1920 by cutting two words in half — NORth COrona — and opened on Mother's Day, May 13, 1923. The first business here was a store that sold people what they needed to build a life on dirt that had already failed once. Norco Oldtown is that town, written down and kept. Norco Outfitters is the store inside it.
